As the Restaurant Manager, you will be the driving force behind the seamless operation of Luigi's Restaurant. Your leadership will ensure our team delivers top-notch service and culinary excellence. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, from staff management to guest satisfaction, ensuring that Luigi's continues to be a destination for memorable dining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and manage all service standards.
- Recruit, train, and inspire a dedicated team of staff while managing scheduling and payroll.
- Ensure all guests receive a high level of service, responding to complaints or requests promptly and professionally.
- Manage inventory and procurement of supplies while controlling operational costs.
- Collaborate with the head chef to innovate menu offerings and ensure high food quality.
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Drive sales and profitability, developing marketing strategies and promotional events.
- Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for both staff and guests.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar managerial role in a hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Excellent organisational abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and relevant laws and regulations such HACCP.
- Passion for food and beverage with an appreciation for Italian cuisine is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
