Little Lamb Restaurant, located in Brisbane QLD is experiencing an exciting growth. We are looking for a dynamic full time Restaurant Manager to ensure the restaurant operates effectively and efficiently.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Planning and organising special functions or promotions of the restaurant
- Planning and coordinating menus with cook
- Working with the cook to maximize and improve the guest dining experience.
- Working with cook for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies to minimize waste and meet budget.
- Recruiting, training and motivating food service personnel
- Organising and supervising the shifts of kitchen, waiting and cleaning staff
- Checking and maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies
- Maintaining records of financial transactions
- Investigating and resolving complaints concerning food quality and service from customer.
- Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
- Meeting and greeting customers and organising table reservations.
Desired skills and experience:
- Must have at least 3 years of management experience within food retail
- Must have good computer skills
- Must have experience in social medical marketing, function and event management
- Must have experience in leading, coaching and training a team
- Must have experience in staff rostering
- Must have strong understanding of the food service environment
