Restaurant Manager

Little Lamb Restaurant, located in Brisbane QLD is experiencing an exciting growth. We are looking for a dynamic full time Restaurant Manager to ensure the restaurant operates effectively and efficiently.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Planning and organising special functions or promotions of the restaurant
• Planning and coordinating menus with cook
• Working with the cook to maximize and improve the guest dining experience.
• Working with cook for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies to minimize waste and meet budget.
• Recruiting, training and motivating food service personnel
• Organising and supervising the shifts of kitchen, waiting and cleaning staff
• Checking and maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies
• Maintaining records of financial transactions
• Investigating and resolving complaints concerning food quality and service from customer.
• Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
• Meeting and greeting customers and organising table reservations.

Desired skills and experience:

• Must have at least 3 years of management experience within food retail
• Must have good computer skills
• Must have experience in social medical marketing, function and event management
• Must have experience in leading, coaching and training a team
• Must have experience in staff rostering
• Must have strong understanding of the food service environment
