Bathers' Pavilion is Sydney's most iconic beachside restaurant located at Balmoral Beach just 20 minutes from the city. It operates with a 2 hatted Restaurant, busy upmarket Bistro, Thai Restaurant, Function Room, takeaway Kiosk and Art Gallery.

We are looking for a full-time friendly and experienced Restaurant Manager for our Thai restaurant and who is passionate about the industry. 

Must have full working rights for Australia. We see this as a long term position so no student or working holiday visas.

Must hold a current New South Wales RSA.

Bathers' is accessible via public transport or there is street parking in the vicinity. Staff meals are provided each day and during the warmer months you can also go for a swim in your break.

Salary: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Task & Responsibilities

The primary focus is the day to day running of the Restaurant

Manage the team of floor staff, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction

Responsibility for staff hiring and training as the need arises

To be aware of staffing levels, associated wage costs and maximising efficiency 

Supervisory responsibilities including daily takings, timing of meals, staff briefing and closing down at the end of the shift and managing rosters

Good communication with Partners, Management and other staff

Offer an impeccable level of service

Will work closely with other Bathers' staff regarding Sales and Marketing and Restaurant promotions

Excellent management style, communication and organisational skills required

A dedicated presence on the floor is critical during service time and weekend work is also necessary

Qualification & Experience

The successful candidate should have minimum of two-three years’ experience in a similar role.
