Restaurant Manager

The Caxton Hotel is looking for an experienced and well organised, Restaurant Manager for our exciting Char Grill Restaurant. The Char Grill is a busy restaurant, particularly on Suncorp Stadium football events and usually operates five days a week. 

This full time role will be well suited to a hands on Restaurant Manager who thrives working in a busy environment and can lead from the front. You will be responsible for maintaining and creating exceptional customer relationships, staff supervision inclusive of training, and helping to uphold our reputation as one of Brisbane’s best steak restaurants.

There is also a possibility for an applicant with the desired qualification to apply as a permanent part-time position working five nights per week. 

Required skills and attributes:

• You will have at least two years experience in a leadership role
• A passion for training, leading and mentoring the team
• Calm and collected under pressure with the ability to multi task
• Able to create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensure all staff engage guests to exceed their expectations
• Effective planning, time management and decision making skills
• Ability to write and implement an efficient roster

• Excellent remuneration package negotiable from $70,000 plus superannuation
