Restaurant Supervisor

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa.
We are seeking to appoint 4 experienced Restaurant Supervisors. This position will require you to have a highly visible presence and hands-on approach during service periods.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position include:
Ensure staff display professional, friendly and helpful service to all guests in line with standards
Providing ongoing training and mentoring of staff
Serve food and beverage, undertake outlet set up and pack down
Assist manager with menu and wine list creation
Driving revenue by ensuring maximum covers per service period
Roster preparation and approval of timesheets in accordance with resort processes
Stock rotation and ordering, including a monthly stocktake
Monitoring the restaurant budget, including completing detailed reporting on the same
Ensuring the restaurant and staff is always presented to resort standards
Promptly address customer concerns and complaint resolution
The required skills, experience and attributes for this position include
Experience working at Restaurant Supervisor level in high-end full service restaurant
A demonstrated history of training and mentoring staff that contributed to the delivery of increased customer satisfaction
A history of working within budgeted guidelines
Hold a current WA Liquor License, or the ability to obtain one
High level of personal presentation and grooming
Strong verbal and written English language skills
Have a professional, friendly and engaging personality
Formal qualifications in hospitality management or similar
