Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Restaurant Team Leader you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venue, maintaining high standards of service, and contributing to the overall success of Boatyard Launceston.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Team Leader or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
- Food safety certification is an advantage.
Other Skills and Attributes:
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer service.
Daily Operations: Assist in overseeeing the day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
Customer Satisfaction: Interact with customers to ensure their experience exceeds expectations.
Staff Training: Assist the Restaurant Manager to ensure staff uphold service standards and product knowledge.
Quality Control: Ensure food and beverage quality and presentation meet established standards.
Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
Shift Management: Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing staff schedules to optimize efficiency and meet business demands.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to implement strategies for business growth and improvement.
