On behalf of our client we’re looking for a Restaurant/Venue Manager
The role will be responsible for ensuring efficient restaurant operation as well as delivering and maintaining high production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.
The daily duties and responsibilities include:
- Coordinate daily Front and Back of House restaurant operations
- Organise and supervise staffs’ roster
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
- Provide detailed weekly, monthly and annual reports on revenues and expenses
- Regular coaching, training and mentoring of staff to improve them and services standards
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
- Liaise with bookkeeper and accountant, data entry via MYOB, prepare invoices
- Creating and implementing new ideas
Education – Associated Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or related qualification in administration or hospitality desirable. Industry experience may substitute where the candidate has no less than 3 years of full-time experience.
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of Industry experience as a Restaurant/ Venue Manager
- Proven customer service experience as a manager
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
- Familiarity with restaurant management software
- Acute financial management skills
Salary: Salary being offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience, with a range between $70,000 and $80,000
