The opportunity
An opportunity has become available for a Customer Service professional to join our Parramatta team. This role is well suited to applicants with experience in Retail Banking Customer Service, transactional banking and personal and/or residential mortgage lending.
Key responsibilities
- identifying products and services best suited to customer needs;
- opening accounts and performing account administration tasks;
- assisting customers with general enquiries, transactions and loan enquiries;
- evaluating, assessing and processing loan applications in accordance with policy and service delivery standards;
- guiding customers through the use of internet banking, mobile and online applications; and
- acting as the primary contact and liaison between customers and specialised teams.
You will from time to time be required to provide relief at our Penrith and Rouse Hill branches. Expense related allowances will be paid to you when working in a relief capacity.
Your skills and experience
- experience in personal loan and residential mortgage lending;
- experience in a Customer Service role in a Retail Banking branch environment;
- the fundamentals required to deliver an exceptional Customer Service experience;
- the ability to build relationships and identify products and services best suited to customer needs;
- highly developed communication and problem solving skills;
- the ability to work unsupervised and cooperatively as part of a team;
- ASIC Tier II accreditation; and
- a sound understanding of compliance obligations associated with this role.
