We are currently seeking a talented Retail Coordinator to join our team and support our Retail and Merchandise Manager in delivering exceptional retail experiences to our visitors.
As the Retail Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail outlets within the arena. Reporting directly to the Retail and Merchandise Manager, you will assist in the coordination of all retail activities, inventory management, and customer engagement initiatives. Your exceptional organizational and communication skills will contribute to the success of our retail operations.
The general responsibilities of the role will involve but not limited to:
- Assist the Retail Catering and Merchandise Manager with stock control and monthly stocktake.
- Assist with the set-up and pack down of retail, concessions, bars, cellars member lounges and restaurants as required for events.
- Assist the Retail Catering and Merchandise Manager with the operational responsibility during events of all merchandise as required.
- Assist with the receipt, distribution, setup / display, stock management and reconciliation of all merchandise items as required.
- Monitor and report maintenance issues (via the FMX system) in a timely manner as well as the cleanliness and organisation of all catering and retail areas.
- Assist the Department with stock level management, including distribution and rotation of stock to minimise wastage and ensure acceptable levels are maintained.
- Assist the Retail Catering and Merchandise Manager and the Catering Manager with the preparation of retail, concessions, bars, cellars, member lounges and restaurants pre-event.
- Assist with the operational responsibility during events of retail, concessions, bars, cellars, member lounges and restaurants.
- Deputise for the Retail & Merchandise Manager if / when required.
- Assist with the set- up and pack down of merchandise as required.

The nature of this role requires a certain set of experience. These include, but are not limited to:
- Proven experience in a retail or customer service-oriented role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of cellar operations, Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, Drivers Licence & Forklift Licence (desirable).
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with a passion for the entertainment industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Microsoft Office proficiency (essential).
