Your opportunity
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Retail Manager who is passionate about customer experience to join our team at Westfield Newmarket. This role requires someone who can take charge of the relationship with our retail partners, support their success, drive results, and advocate for their needs.
As the voice of the customer and the centre's eyes and ears, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding experiences every day by prioritising customer needs. Reporting to the Centre Manager and part of the centre’s leadership team, this position offers the chance to make a significant impact on the customer experience and to drive our team's success.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to customer and retail partner-focused activities that cover the day-to-day management and operations of the Centre and exceptional everyday presentation
- Building strong relationships with Centre retail partners, customers, and community and government stakeholders
- Identifying areas of strategic opportunity in relation to retailers, customers and broader centre performance, creating short and long-term roadmaps that contribute to improved retail partner and Centre performance
- Acting as a change advocate, initiating and supporting new programs that impact the retailer and customer experience and overall business performance
- Resolving issues and influencing internal stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes for the customer and retail partners
- Dealing with Centre incidents and emergencies in accordance with company procedures
- Performing all Duty Manager requirements on a rotating weekend and evening roster with the rest of the Centre Management Leadership Team
