We are looking for a Technical Team Leader to join our experienced and tight knit team.
Role DescriptionWe're seeking a technically proficient hands-on service technician to take on the opportunity to elevate their career into a hybrid management-technical role. The ideal candidate will bring technical/electrical experience along with an eagerness to take on and learn project coordination and management responsibilities.
This role allows for growth and progression within Nupac with the successful candidate taking on a Team Leader and project coordination role.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and installation of new and modified machinery
- Serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert on all Nupac agent machines.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to organise and support maintenance, service, modernisations, and installation tasks for Nupac’s clients, meeting service schedules.
- Develop and implement Project Management strategies for client jobs.
- Troubleshoot clients’ equipment and process issues to minimise downtime and optimise clients’ production efficiency and solve breakdowns.
- Liaise with suppliers to provide technical support and training for customer issues.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Support administrative tasks such as invoicing, reporting, and customer inquiries.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Electrical A-grade certification required.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in technician role.
- Proficiency in using various manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a positive, performance-driven team environment.
- Experience in rostering and coordination is a bonus.
- Project Management qualifications and experience is a bonus.
