The Retail Operations Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Retail Operations Manager and the retail team in achieving its goals. They are responsible for supporting operations across the our Owned & Operated and Franchise stores in the Australia New Zealand (ANZ) Cluster. The focus of this role is on driving the front and back-end of Retail Operations through effective communication and management of key commercial projects and tasks, to support our retail teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the support of the Store Network in the ANZ Cluster by implementing strategies to streamline operational tasks and functions of the department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to manage the collation and distribution of information to retail teams through established communications channels.
- Manage and ensure the maintenance of the retail App (Connect) platform across all functionalities including Newsfeed, Calendar, Documents, Surveys and Tasks.
- Partner with the Training Department to drive engagement and usage of the retail App through reporting and driving engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments and work independently to execute tasks to support key commercial activities tracked in The Critical Path Meeting and Property and Development meetings
- Elevate the Store Activity Guide, Weekly Wrap and other communication documents to become a valuable and indispensable document for the store teams to execute on Cycle launches and Key Promotional periods
- Collaborate with key departments to create materials and processes for peak trade periods to support the retail stores
- Partner with the customer service department to analyse customer feedback
- Implement strategies to improve upon customer and Pandorian experiences.
- Oversee the creation and execution of Retail Incentives and Initiatives
- Support the expansion of the network by managing the Retail Operations components of the new store openings process and support new stores and Pandorian’s in their onboarding.
- Oversee the execution of store support activities by the Retail Operations Executives such as store supplies, stationary, store services and ad hoc store requests.
- Oversee the management of the Retail Operations Inbox to ensure requests received are being actioned in a timely manner
- Support the Ecommerce function in driving and communicating on key initiatives such as Click and Collect
The successful candidate
- 2-3 years’ experience in a Retail Operations position
- High attention to detail & process improvement skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
- Solution orientated and customer centric mindset with the Retail Team needs and experience front of mind.
- Skilled in building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and colleagues, demonstrating adaptability in interacting with individuals at all levels.
