An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to join our renowned Property & Asset Management team, managing a portfolio of retail assets.
You will provide support in the management of contractors, the co-ordination of works within the shopping centres, statutory compliance, procedures, and risk management with an emphasis on building and maintaining superior client relationships.
A snapshot of the role.
- Supervising the activities of engaged contractors to ensure a suitable environment for customers, staff, tenants, and confirming all services operate effectively and safely
- Confirming that the services engaged and purchased are within the budgeted costs
- Assist in the delivery of any capital projects and tenancy delivery
- Mechanical / Operational understanding within a Shopping Centre environment
- Managing annual operational budgets. Contributing to the business planning process
- Management of Risk and WHS Legislation
- Being proactive in communicating with tenants formally and informally to gain insights, key drivers and respond to any relevant issues promptly
- Working effectively in a team environment ensuring you maintain consistency and support to all colleagues and our clients as required

In order to be the successful candidate, you will have shopping centre operations/ facilities management experience with great budgeting and reporting skills.
You absolutely thrive working with a variety of clients/ tenants and enjoy working in a team environment as well as autonomously.
Positive and tenacious in your daily approach, customer service is your key priority, and you can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Having the ability to be proactive and able to identify potential risks through compliance with OH&S is essential. You keep on top of things and can also oversee budgets, cut operational costs, and incur savings during the process.
