1. Greet and assist customers warmly in-store, providing expert advice on bird care products and accessories.2. Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment.3. Pack Online Orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring items are carefully selected, packaged, and labeled for shipping.4. Maintain organised storage areas for Online Order fulfillment, including inventory management and restocking shelves.5. Collaborate with team members to prioritise tasks and ensure timely fulfillment of Online Orders while providing excellent customer service in-store.6. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns via phone, email, or in-person, demonstrating professionalism and product knowledge.7. Assist with receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, and updating inventory records as needed.8. Keep the store clean and presentable at all times, including regular tidying of packing and shipping areas.9. Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends to better assist customers and drive sales.10. Uphold company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and customer privacy.Qualifications:
1. Previous retail experience preferred, with a focus on customer service and/or Online Order fulfillment.2. Passion for birds and knowledge of bird care essentials, including dietary requirements, housing needs, and behavior.3. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and multitask effectively.4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in-person and when interacting with customers online or over the phone.5. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Online Order management systems.6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.7. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed to meet customer demand.8. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift objects weighing up to 25kg.9. Additional education or training in animal care or retail management is a plus.Benefits:
