• Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $120,859 to $133,183 + super 

Botanic Gardens of Sydney (BGoS) is looking for a Retail Manager to lead and develop a new retail strategy for BGoS.  This exciting and unique role involves overseeing retail operations across four sites, including a flagship store at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering a cohesive retail experience aligned with our brand and strategic objectives.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced retail manager with multi-site experience, proven operational skills, high level of sales management success and excellent team leadership abilities. 

About You

You are an experienced retail manager with a proven track record in multi-site retail management and operational success. You possess:

• Strong skills in sales management, operations, team leadership, buying, product development, and brand management.
• Experience in developing and implementing retail strategies and vision statements.
• Advanced expertise in retail operational management and visual merchandising.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a customer-focused and sales-driven environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Flexibility to work outside of normal work hours, during holiday periods, and on weekends.
