About the Opportunity
As a Retail Support Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering on retail technology initiatives and providing technical customer support to our retail customers.
The role works within our Metcash Retail Technology (MRT) team. Our team is primarily responsible for ensuring that our retailer customers in the independent grocery, convenience and liquor space have the right partners, systems, processes and data to provide their shoppers with the best possible retail experience.
In this Role
• Support retailer integration with Metcash systems; Host Support, electronic ordering, electronic invoicing and the provision of scan data
• Customer support (issue logging and resolution) and project delivery
• Relationship management with Vendors, Business, Suppliers and Customers
• Mediate and resolve retailer technical issues
• Interact with a range of stakeholders including business team members, IT team members, external parties (banks, telcos, software and hardware solution partners) and with our retailers
You're Likely a Match If
• Solid experience within retail environment / operations (POS systems is desirable)
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Strong customer service focus
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High level attention to detail and time management skills
