Support our residents at RAAFA's Erskine Estate as a Retirement Wellbeing Officer. Working on a part-time, fixed-term basis (50 hours per fortnight) from June, you will join our already established team and deliver information, support and guidance to our amazing residents.

About the Role:
- Assist residents to link to support services whilst encouraging independence and choice;
- Lead and participate in projects related to resident well-being;
- Encourage programs which help promote health, wellbeing and the active lives of residents;
- Consult with residents and their representatives to identify and develop strategies to deal with concerns;
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure residents are supported as their needs change;
- Respond to resident duress calls where required during office hours, taking action as required and record actions taken.
- Responsibility to comply with all RAAFA Polices and Procedures and all reasonable management directions.
About you:
- Understanding of Active Ageing and history of applying this to previous roles;
- Demonstrated ability to assess residents care and well-being requirements and to prioritise effectively;
- Experience in conflict resolution and well developed problem solving skills;
- Awareness of issues related to Aged Care with appropriate advocacy and negotiation skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a knowledge of Microsoft Office.
