- Responsible for remote billing across all Calvary Private Hospitals to ensure revenue KPIs are met.
About the role
This full time role is a newly created position designed to support the Calvary Private Hospitals with remote billing of patient accounts. The role will also be involved in implementing internal billing compliance audits, and supporting sites with Health Fund queries. This role has the option for hybrid work, and will require occasional travel to hospitals located in South Australia, ACT, Tasmania and New South Wales.
Your main duties will include:
- Ensure hospital invoices are correctly and accurately generated according to Hospital policies, Health Fund Agreements (HPPA’s) and third party guidelines
- Complete internal billing audits as required
- Participate in Health Fund audits relating to Billing
About you
- Must have experience in a health fund or private hospital billing
- Ability to plan and establish work priorities with a high level of attention to detail
- Experience within the health industry is preferable with an understanding of the relevant Health Funds contracts
- Sound working knowledge of medical terminology
