Riggers (Structural Steel)

Sydney Steel Projects P/L is looking for experienced Structural Steel Riggers to join our erection teams in the Greater Sydney area. The ideal candidate must have experience with installing and assembling Structural Steel components according to engineering specifications. Experienced installers only apply.

Responsibilities include.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret Structural Steel Drawings/Marking Plans
• Ability to work in a Team Environment under the direction of a Project Manager/Site Supervisor
• Have a proactive approach to safety requirements.
• Comply with Project requirements and deadlines.
• Have an appreciation for the physical aspect of the role.

What you will bring

• Australian recognized HRWL Qualifications / Licenses for related position 
• A current driver's license is essential.
• White Card
• EWP license, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces training highly regarded.
• Proof of right to work in Australia.
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in Structural Steel erection
• Cert III in heavy fabrication (boiler making) would be advantageous but not essential.
