AddressStrike Drilling is a well-established minerals exploration drilling company and leading provider of Reverse Circulation and Air Core drilling services with rigs operating throughout Australia.
The role:
Strike Drilling is seeking a Risk and Compliance Advisor to provide support to our national field operations in a permanent full-time capacity. This position will be based in Perth with regular travel to our exploration sites partnering directly with our crews on the ground. This is a newly created position reporting into our Risk and Compliance Manager.
- Promote a “safety first” and continuous improvement culture by actively engaging with the field, fostering safety compliance, proactive risk management, field leadership and in-field training and assessment.
- Coordination of in-field inspections and audits
- End to end incident investigations using the ICAM process.
- Continuous review and maintenance of all HSEQ policies, procedures, work instructions and process map documentation in compliance with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements and ISO Quality 9001:2015 standards.
- Maintain HSEQ metrics and data management systems and undertake reporting requirements.
- Identify risks, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor outcomes.
- Design, review and coordinate internal training requirements.
- Assist with new hire inductions.
About you:
- Experience within the exploration drilling industry is preferred and highly regarded.
- Knowledge of iCAM investigations, Bowtie and SWOT analysis is preferred but for the right candidate the Company will support with training and upskilling.
- Flexibility with how you work and understand that regular travel will be required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and show initiative.
- High levels of motivation, excellent time management and organisational skills
