The Technology Chief Controls Office (TCCO) team is a Line 1 risk team responsible for ensuring new and changing initiatives are assessed and there are adequate risk mitigations in place.
This role is within the Retail Technology team of TCCO and will work closely with the primary stakeholder of Retail Technology to strengthen and drive effective technology risk management and assist with uplifting controls and risk culture. Retail Technology deliver the technology underpinning CommBank’s Retail Bank including CommBank App, NetBank, ATM’s, Credit Cards, Home Buying, Contact Centres and Core Banking.

The Technology Chief Controls Office works with the business, including Service Owners, Business Owners, Project and Portfolio Managers, Procurement and Cyber Security to capture and assess technology and operational risks. Additionally, it supports the maintenance of an effective risk management framework by leading risk engagement within Retail Technology.
We bring together specialist risk advice to support the business in the delivery of their outcomes within an effective risk culture.
On any given day you will
Engage with a broad spectrum of stakeholders across the Group including delivery teams, cyber security specialists, business owners and operational risk.
Perform technology risk assessments.
Identify key risks, issues, and incidents and advise on remediation.
Provide specialist advice on technology compliance and other internal policies.
Inform and influence senior stakeholders for better risk outcomes.
We're interested in hearing from people with
Strong technology risk or operational risk experience.
Background in regulatory and compliance, audit & assurance, cloud or project management will also be considered.
Stakeholder management, analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional qualifications such as (CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSIP, CA or CPA).
Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, economics, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related subjects.
