The New Payments Platform (NPP) Compliance squad is critical part of the Real Time Payments (RTP) Crew, whose purpose is to deliver, uphold and educate on industry driven initiatives that contribute towards ensuring our compliance with Australian Payments Plus (AP+) and maintenance of our NPP risk appetite. In leading the Compliance squad, you will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders, NPP Product Managers, and industry contacts with a clear focus on closing breaches, managing internal risk items, and delivering changes in accordance with scheme requirements as a NPP Participant.
You will report into the General Manager, Crew Lead for the Real Time Payments Crew.
Do work that matters:
Lead and define the squad vision, goals and roadmap which should correlate with Industry expectations. Lead and manage end-to-end management of Compliance initiatives your squad are accountable for. Provide insightful updates and transparency of impacts to the RTP crew in relation to your industry involvement and delivery management of our compliance initiatives.
Responsibilities:

• Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to.
• Manage the squad’s performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc. in line with the new ways of working model.
• Manage industry and internal expectations in relation to your squad’s compliance initiatives. This includes providing valuable feedback, completing regular reporting and educating on impacts in the scenario of being unable to deliver by the AP+ defined go-live date.
• Lead the squad day-to-day delivery and task actioning to contribute towards completion of committed initiatives.
• Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations.
• Act as the voice of CBA when dealing with industry in relation to scheme deliverables and when participating in industry committees.
• Drive end-to-end delivery or completion of Compliance initiatives.
• Identify, articulate and manage risks, and dependencies across your squad initiatives.
• Lead and develop your squad’s initiative roadmap, and engage with senior stakeholders/ business units to align in priorities and drive priority of your compliance initiative.
• Maintain a healthy prioritised Backlog that highlights the business and customer outcome or benefit, as well as customer or business impact while in Backlog and not prioritised.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Have proven NPP Product experience or Product Owner experience. Ideally have had exposure or have knowledge of AP+ function and industry documentation.
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst / Project Manager / Product Manager in above initiative spaces would also be considered.
• Experienced in leading a team or squad in order to reach a desired outcome.
• Strong communicator, both Verbal and Written.
• Experience with Agile methodology, working within a mixed onshore /offshore squad would be ideal.
• Have experience managing Risks and Product Compliance and using formal methods to document this.
• Are experienced in communicating and collaborating with internal stakeholders at various levels.
• Experience in driving discussions and tracking towards completion of an initiative. Including creating useful reporting and ensuring visibility across all key stakeholders or teams.
• Experience in communicating with industry and regulatory bodies desirable.
