Fixed Term/Permanent - Full time 38 hoursSalary: Band 7 - $101,432- $113,228 + 11 % superannuationRole includes an RDOWe are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced professional to join our team in the role of Risk and Emergency Management Advisor. Reporting to the Manager Corporate Integrity (Legal Counsel) and as a member of the broader Corporate Integrity unit, you will be responsible for providing risk management support to all business units within Council, promoting risk-based decision making and leading Emergency Management initiatives and functions across Council.What you’ll be working on
- Coordinating the development, review, and implementation of Council-wide strategies for community Emergency Management in conjunction with all areas of the organisation.
- Promoting awareness of the risk management framework and contributing to creating a culture of proactive risk management across all levels of Council.
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of the risk management framework, controls, and governance processes organisation-wide.
- Assisting stakeholders to identify relevant risks and to develop and maintain operational risk registers.
- Contributing to the identification of emerging risk issues and improvement opportunities.
