About the Company

Central Petroleum Limited (ASX: CTP) is a well-established and emerging Australian ASX-listed oil and gas producer. We have a diverse portfolio of producing and prospective gas tenements across the Northern Territory (NT) and Queensland. We operate the largest onshore oil and gas fields in the NT, producing from proven reserves in the Amadeus Basin (west of Alice Springs). As an Australian oil and gas company listed on the ASX, we provide energy security and reliable gas supply to power stations, mine sites, energy wholesalers and retailers in central and northern Australia. 

About the role

This role provides administrative and system support to the Risk & HSE Team through the coordination of training and alignment of those reporting requirements of the Company. Integral to this position’s focus is to ensure the smooth running of administrative support and duties associated with operations of the Risk & HSE team. 

Key activities within this role include:

  • Coordinate the management of the HSE Management System Document review cycle, management of change. 
  • Be the System administrator and subject matter expert for Risk and HSE Systems (INX- InControl, Intuition, JMS) including reporting, configuration changes, query management, improvements, security & maintenance.
  • Project manage the implementation of new or the upgrading of existing systems within the Risk & HSE function.
  • Collaborate with team members and respond to queries.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees and contractors.
  • Coordinate training & develop training materials as required.
  • Monitoring functional HSE performance.
  • Manage the Regulatory Report, and other registers and ensure compliance.

What you will need to be successful in this role

  • 3+ years of administrative/ business support experience and/or Qualifications in Business or related discipline.
  • Proven ability to completes tasks in an accurate and timely manner. 
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Visio (Visio is desirable but not essential).
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts and software applications. 
  • Remains professional and composed when under pressure. 
  • Proven experience in providing efficient and effective support.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills & well-developed interpersonal skills.
