About the Opportunity
Join our team as a Risk Management Officer and play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and monitoring Risk Management functions for our Council. You'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact by ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
You will deliver
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring Risk Management functions.
- Maintaining Risk Management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Administering insurance claims and liaising with insurers and legal advisers.
- Managing Council's Business Continuity Management System.
- Providing specialist advice on Risk Management.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective Risk Management.
What you will bring
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in Risk Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
