Risk Management and Insurance Officer
Tenure: Full Time
Location: Echuca
Remuneration: $102,856 to $115,229 pa + superannuation & leave loading
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a driven and experienced Risk Management or Insurance professional to join the Governance team. The role will be responsible for supporting the coordination, administration and review of Council’s Risk Management Framework and the effective management of Council’s insurance portfolio and associated claims.
The ideal candidate will bring an exceptional customer service approach to delivering an effective enterprise Risk Management program and will have experience in the management of insurance policies and portfolios with extensive knowledge of principles of insurance law and common law related to negligence and liability.
To be successful you will have:
- Degree, Diploma or Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management or a related discipline, or less formal qualifications with substantial relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in risk identifications, assessment, controls and risk auditing.
- Experience in various fields of insurance and claims management.
- Demonstrated experience with the placement and management of insurance policies and portfolios.
- Valid National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
