We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead and manage risk activities across a major high profile Defence branch
Tell me about this role: We are currently looking for a NV1 Risk Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will lead and manage risk activities across the project and work with the project team to improve risk management process. You will also get the opportunity to train and mentor other staff is best risk management practice.

This role will support Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance projects. Primarily based in Canberra, we will also consider applicants working remotely from Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne.
What will I be doing day to day?
Plan, manage and lead risk activities across the project Manage and implement the risk management plan Support risk management training and workshops Liaise with management, staff, customers, contractors and other organisations. Coordinate and lead the risk management board Provide subject matter expertise around risk management Align risk management information with risk treatment activities Ensure transfer of knowledge to the rest of the team
What sort of skills do I need? Demonstrated experience in Risk Management Qualifications or relevant industry experience in risk management Demonstrated experience in a Defence environment High level attention to detail Experience working in a complex project environment Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders Hold a NV1 security clearance or higher
