SalaryOur client is a leading civil construction company, boasting a large portfolio with a heavy focus on delivering safe and quality projects across several sub-divisions, civil infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and residential developments across SEQ.
Due to the increasing pipeline of work, Red Rock Recruitment is currently looking for multiple experienced Roller Operators and Civil Labourers to commence work across various sites on the Northside. This role is ongoing for the right candidate with a temp-perm role on offer.
This position offers just over $34/hr with full penalties paid including meal & travel allowance, with over 55 hours of work per week for candidates seeking overtime.
Successful candidates would have experience in:
- At least 1 years' demonstrated experience operating a roller on civil subdivisions
- Experience on padfoot, smooth-drum and multi-tyre rollers
- Candidates with experience in Main Roads work are highly encouraged to apply
- Digging / Backfilling
- Grade checking (stringline or laser)
- Spotting machinery
- Raking, shoveling, sweeping etc.
- Temp fencing
- Site clean-up
Position Requirements:
- White Construction Card
- RII ticket for roller operations
- Demonstrated experience in the above tasks
- Background in civil construction
- Strong work ethic with a high emphasis on safety
- Current valid driver licence and reliable transport
