Mine Site Construction Services (Mine Site) proudly West Australian privately owned mining services organisation specialising in civil engineering, earthmoving, infrastructure, quarrying and mining production services to a range of clients operating throughout Australia. The company is privately owned by the Caruso family and has been operating over four decades. Mine Site has specialist industry experience in minerals sands mining operations, in both mine production and rehabilitation.

Summary:

We are seeking several skilled and experienced roller and Water Cart operators to join our operations team at Coburn. The successful candidate will work a 2:1 roster (7 days then 7 nights) and responsible for operating rollers/compactors (CP563E / BW211Pd-4 Padfoot roller) and Water Carts (CAT 740 and Isuzu FVZ 1400) to ensure efficient and safe production processes. As part of the Coburn operations team, you will work closely with other site team members to ensure that production targets are met and quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain rollers and other compaction and Water Cart equipment.
• Ensure proper compaction or dust suppression of materials on mining sites.
• Collaborate with the construction and mining teams to achieve project goals.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Comply with safety regulations and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Roller / Water Cart Operator in the mining industry.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical and LAB DAS
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

• Relevant certifications for Roller / Watercart operation (desirable)
• Proven experience operating (CP563E / BW211Pd-4 Padfoot roller) and Water Carts (CAT 740 and Isuzu FVZ 1400)
• Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environmental conditions.
• Willingness to undergo any additional training required.
