About the opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Rolling Stock, the Rolling Stock Asset Manager is responsible for the development of Rolling Stock maintenance, overhaul and renewals and depot operation plans, ensuring that the Suburban Rail Loop satisfies passenger service, operational performance and asset management expectations.
The Rolling Stock Asset Manager is a member of a high-performing rail operations team responsible for operations and maintenance planning, procurement, readiness and delivery of the Suburban Rail Loop railway.
This role will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Rail Operating Plan (ROP) for the SRL.
You will be passionate about contributing to the delivery of large public infrastructure, working within a high-performing project team to drive exceptional outcomes. As an accomplished and trusted technical specialist in Rolling Stock management and planning, you enjoy working in a fast paced, performance focused environment where you can apply your knowledge and highly developed problem-solving skills on a world-class, modern railway.
An ability to be responsive, adaptability to change, and well-developed stakeholder management skills will be critical in the delivery of the role.
