The Position:
- Location: Canberra (Garran)
- Full-Time
- Work closely with the therapy team to ensure the Individual Plan (IP) for each child within your classroom is being effectively implemented.
- Your role will be to document progress, maintain records and manage the administration for your room.
- You will be responsible for the daily operations of your classroom ensuring consistency in the delivery of the AEIOU program and also coordinate Early Invention Specialists (as assigned).
- In collaboration with the therapy team, you will also provide support to families to share knowledge, skills and tools that will assist them with achieving therapy goals in the home.
- You have completed an ACECQA approved Diploma qualification or equivalent.
- You will have previous experience as a Room Leader in an early childhood setting (preferred)
- You will have experience supervising and coaching staff to deliver required outcomes.
- Hold a current first aid certificate (HLTAID004)
- Have a current Positive Working with Vulnerable People Check (or able to obtain before commencement)
- Have your COVID-19 Vaccination certificate (double-dosed) or have an approved Government exemption
- NDIS Worker Screening Check required if your WWVP was applied for or renewed post 1 February 2021
- Competitive above award wages - Base hourly rate ranges from $35.20 to $44.00, plus super (salary is negotiated based on qualifications and experience)
