Located in the small coastal community of Wadeye, 420kms from Darwin, the Wadeye Children and Family Centre is the place for dedicated and passionate educators. Requirements and qualification:

• Be eligible to work in Australia
• Diploma in early childhood or ACECQA approved equivalent
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current NT Working with Children Card

Selection criteria:

• 1-2 years’ experience as an educator or in similar role
• Organisational skills including include general organising, planning, time management, scheduling, coordinating resources and meeting deadlines
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of, and commitment to comply with the organisation’s code of ethics, vision (spirit), policies and procedures and to support the organisations culture
• Experience in building successful relationships with staff, families and community
• A commitment to continuous improvement and efficiencies in service delivery
• Knowledge of relevant state and commonwealth laws and regulations
