Located at the RAAF Base Tindal, just 15 km outside of Katherine and caters to Defence personnel and their families. Katherine is the fourth largest settlement in the Northern Territory and is known as the place where "The outback meets the tropics". Situated on the Katherine River 320km southwest of Darwin.
The team have created three separate learning environments for different age groups. Children feel like they belong here, and so will you. They have capacity for 73 children and operate between 7am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. On the weekends the adventure and experiences of the surrounding region will have you longing for the great outdoors. Travel, adventure, and an amazing career - you can have it all!
Who You Will Be:
Join our dynamic team as a leader in early childhood education, where you will have the opportunity to mentor and inspire educators while supporting the continuous development of both staff and students. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with families to nurture and care for children, actively contributing to their learning journey. Your responsibilities will include acting as an authorized responsible person, ensuring compliance with national standards and regulations. You'll foster positive relationships with children, crafting and evaluating a child-focused curriculum that aligns with our philosophy and standards.
What You Will Bring:
- Diploma in Early childhood
- Valid Ochre card or ability to obtain one
- Covid Vaccination
- Strong leadership skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- $16.60 per week NT District Allowance
