About the Role

After reopening late 2022 after a refurbishment, we are searching for a seasoned Rooms Division Manager to lead the team, coordinate and manage the day to day operations of Front Office, Guest Relations, Night Audit functions and Housekeeping, facilitating constructive communication between all departments, ensuring a positive guest experience from the time of booking enquiry to the point of check out. Some key responsibilities of this role are:

• Management of the hotel Front Office operation, role modelling exemplary standards of guest service and providing the team with clear direction and setting appropriate standards of behaviour.
• Regular liaison with maintenance and housekeeping departments ensuring all requests are completed quickly focusing on guest needs as a priority.
• Motivate and empower the team; providing team members with development opportunities and coaching; recruiting team members of a high calibre.
• Preparation of Front Office monthly reports, commenting on key performance indicators.
• Actively resolve guest issues and challenges presented on shift, including responding to guest feedback.

Skills & Experience

• Previous hotel management experience
• Strong written and verbal communication with key stakeholders
• Pride in personal presentation and grooming essential
• Sound time management and problem-solving skills essential
• Advanced PMS experience desirable
