Position Description: Marina Personal – Multi Purpose Role.
Reporting to: The Townsville Ross River Marina Board of Directors
Location: 3 Sandspit Drive South Townsville
Main objective of this position
To serve the directors, shareholders, and users of Townsville Ross River Marina by providing a high standard of management and administration support, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the marina.
Responsibility and Accountability
- Consistently deliver a high level of customer service to all marina users.
- Accurate data collection and entry of daily wharf meter readings required to produce monthly invoices.
- Provision of diesel fuel sales to vessels and invoicing requirements.
- Record daily chandlery sales and produce monthly invoices.
- Perform all bookkeeping, administrative, legal, and regulatory obligations of Townsville Ross River Marina.
- Annual General Meeting
- Daily cleaning of the Amenities Blocks and keeping the ground area clean.
- Forklift licence is a requirement with this job.
Character and Ethical Standard
- Exhibit a positive attitude and professional approach to all TRRM business, including directors, shareholders, and marina users.
Financial Management
- Process customer payments via EFT, EFTPOS and cheques, allocation of payments to relevant invoices.
- Manage TRRM aged debtors, debt recovery and liaise with the Debt Collector.
Governance and Regulatory Obligations
- Uphold the Policies and Procedures of TRRM, meet all regulatory obligations, including but not limited to privacy, taxation, employment, workplace health and safety, environmental and local authorities.
- Complete Risk Assessments, as applicable, to support TRRM risk mitigation and risk management.
Reporting
- Prepare a monthly financial report for the Board Meeting, when needed.
