Located in the picturesque township of Alstonville, Maranoa Centre sits on truly magnificent grounds. Our lush rainforest patch has over 30 species of established rainforest trees, including a Moreton Bay Fig tree where many people love to rest and read.
Maranoa Centre provides 90 beds for residents across all levels of care, including dementia care and respite care services.
About the role
You’ll be part of a team, empowering and supporting one another to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve. As Roster Clerk you are responsible for delivery of rostering and administrative functions for aged care services.
This is a permanent part time position Mon – Fri of 75 hours per fortnight.
Duties may include:
- Responsible for all aspects of the roster and the facility payroll systems within the home, supported by head office services
- Distribute the fortnightly roster in required timeframes and develop staff daily run sheets
- Coordinate staff replacement and enter leave
- Participate in the recruitment process within the home
- General administrative duties as requested
The successful candidate will have
- You are a team player, enjoy interacting with elderly people
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Have proven experience in rostering (desirable) and office administration/clerical position
- Great customer service with ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision
