Your New Role
We are excited to offer to an experience Roster Coordinator the opportunity to become part of the Orion Care family.
Your experience in scheduling staff and the understanding of the Schads award will help you succeed in your new role.
This role is fast paced where you will be responsible to cover vacant shifts in a timely manner, working within the guidelines of the Schads Award conditions to ensure compliance is maintained and the minimizing of overtime.
This is a pivotal role that will work not only within the dedicated scheduling team but with other team members across Orion Care.
How you’ll make an impact as a Roster Coordinator:
- Provide rostering for all Orion Care staff as required
- Understand and maintain roster schedules across Adelaide
- Ensure rostering is in compliance with Award conditions (Schads)
- Ensure staff allocation is appropriate, agreed upon, and managed
- Engage with all stakeholders to ensure participant support is accurate
- Ensure rostering is fair, balanced and provides work life balance
- Staff are matched with participant compatibility
- Develop strategies to communicate scheduling issues with all stakeholders
- Provide reports as required
- Attend meetings and training as required
- Roster staff training,meetings,buddy shifts and Orientation shifts as required
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of Schads Awards
- Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in rostering staff in a medium organisation and across multiple sites
- Have experience in coordinating services in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Certificate III in Disability Services
- NDIS Workers Clearance Check
- NDIS Working with Children Clearance Check
- Drivers License / Road Worthy vehicle
- Working Rights / Passport / Visa /Birth Certificate
- Manual Handling
- NDIS Orientation Module
