The Position
St John of God Subiaco Hospital is a world-class private hospital offering the highest quality medical and surgical care in a warm and welcoming environment. Many of Perth's leading specialist physicians and surgeons practice at our 578 bed hospital, allowing our patients access to a comprehensive range of services. Our hospital is located in the heart of Subiaco close to stylish cafes, boutiques and with easy access to the trainstation.
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, innovative Rostering Officer to join our busy Nursing Administration team on a Permanent Full Time Basis, working 76 hours per fortnight.
The Rostering Officer assists with maintaining rostering and scheduling processes to meet the requirements of the Clinical Wards, working under the direction of the Nurse Manager Workforce to achieve an effective and efficient clinical caregiver rostering service in line with organisational goals.
Sound knowledge of OneStaff, Kronos system or similar programs; knowledge of health care related EBA' and Rostering requirements in a healthcare setting is highly regarded.
The successful candidate will have:
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Sound knowledge and experience in providing support within a Rostering or Payroll area.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to individuals and caregivers on a variety of matters.
- Expert knowledge with the use of Microsoft office applications especially Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised, independently and part of a team.
- Experience with ordering of stock and Invoicing
- Demonstrated capability to take initiative to drive and implement change.
- High-level organisational skills, with the ability to set priorities and meet multiple deadlines.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality, and exercise flexibility, tact and diplomacy.
