About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a Health & Safety Officer to join our busy team carrying out ongoing works in the Pilbara.
This is a FIFO role, with 8:6 Roster on offer.
This role will be reporting directly to the HSEQ Manager and involves the following key duties:
- Inspecting project sites and conducting audits to ensure compliance with government and industry standards and regulations
- Performing Critical Control Field Verification (CCFV) checks and review of critical risk/high risk work across our work fronts
- Assisting in conducting safety meetings and organising training and education of workers
- Observation of workers and implementation of required PPE and safety systems
- Inspection of equipment, machines, tools and PPE to ensure compliance with safety standards and client standards
- Promote a positive safety culture through engagement with the work team and encouragement of open communication and reporting
- Producing reports for the HSEQ Manager on performance

To be successful you must have the following:
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol screening
- Cert IV WHS
- 3+ years relevant mine site and construction experience
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
