I am currently partnered with a major Geelong employer who is seeking two skilled and experienced Rostering Specialists for a temporary assignment.
Do you have rostering systems and processes experience, particularly setting and managing team rosters? Experience with payroll systems and payroll processes?

Your new role
This position is primarily responsible for working in partnership with a project team, clinical and corporate areas across the organisation, to configure the Optima System. The position is also responsible for system/roster configuration and quality assurance tasks, which contribute to streamlining of Optima System and processes to improve business efficiency.
- Configure Optima Functionalities as per requirements.
- Provide first level support for user queries.
- Identify customer payroll processes and articulate how these can be implemented in Optima system.
- Maintain leave types and payroll codes in the solution ongoing.
- Maintain Areas and Roles for employees in the ongoing solution.
- Provide advice in relation to the best known payroll and payroll system processes and methods.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in a project environment.
- Experience of gathering, documenting and configuration of Rostering Systems.
- A pragmatic ‘can do’ approach to meeting time and quality requirements in a commercial and challenging business environment.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in a role which interacts with customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent rapport building and customer negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of project work to meet critical deadlines for multiple and diverse clients
- Strong time management and schedule management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively question a range of stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, efficient and self-motivated.
- Ability to work with and lead others.
- Versatile and adaptable.
DESIRABLE:
- Rostering and Time & Attendance systems implementation
- Experience in application testing (system / user acceptance).
Training/Qualifications (or equivalent experience):
Qualification in a relevant discipline (Human Resources, Project Management, Business, Payroll, Finance).
