An opportunity currently exists for a Field Sales Representative - WA, based at our Kewdale site on a full-time permanent basis. The purpose of this position is to ensure profitable growth through the development and execution of business and customer plans across Independent Retail & Bakeries in WA whilst maximizing sales potential and account management through improved performance and relationships.
Key accountabilities include:
- Participate in setting of and achieve budget and business objectives for growth channels.
- Achievement of sales/volume, Net sales and gross margin targets.
- Support account managers in developing customer plans for growth.
- Build industry knowledge of customer across independent retail and Bakeries.
- Identify opportunities to support ongoing sales growth.
- Work within a team environment and participate in a proactive manner.
- Participate in multi-channel training with the State based Field Sales teams. Management and control of pricing and profit maximisation within delegation limits.
- Submit monthly reports on business performance targets.
- Participate in the team drive to reduce credits and claims received.
The successful applicant will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or similar would be highly regarded.
- Bakery Qualification or minimum 3 years’ experience dealing within the Independent Supermarket or bakery Industry, highly regarded.
- Ability to effectively negotiate promotional activity and implement at store level.
- Ability to manage a CRM call cycle.
- Proven commercial acumen gained through account management experience.
- Excellent business disciplines and project management skills.
- High level of analytical, conceptual, presentation and communication (oral and written) skills.
- Accountability for results with a client orientation.
- Able to communicate with managers and operatives at all levels and a proven team player across organisational lines.
- Sound IT skills. Strong Excel skills.
