Skills and experience:
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to use a consultative selling approach to develop long term relationships
- Willing to learn and have an appetite to seek and engage with new and existing clients and providers
- Have outstanding communication and networking skills across a variety of channels
- Positive outlook and can-do attitude with strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and able to prioritise your workload and take direction to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skill and calm under pressure
- Genuine commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for new and existing clients
- Strong systems experience and an ability to follow processes including data entry and use of a CRM system
- Must be experienced in achieving KPI's and targets
A Business Development Manager Day will involve:
- Generating New Business through sourcing new leads and using our existing database
- Visiting potential and existing clients and making cold calls
- Work closely with the sales team to manage and contact new leads
- Ensure the CRM is maintained and updated
- Ensure your calendar and meetings are managed effectively (and working in collaboration with the sales team)
- Following up enquires to consult, answer questions, and assist with the sign up of new students
- Assist in processing enrolments, collecting documentation, distributing marketing material
- Being a point of contact for client enquires and the IST’s advocate in your designated area
- Weekly reporting to the State Manager
