About the Role
The RTO Campus Coordinator is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating student instruction, administration, and services. The RTO Campus Coordinator manages and oversees campus operations, activities, events, and student programs. They working directly with students and staff to provide an enriching and supportive environment in line with Lead College’s mission and government legislations.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinating and managing the RTO’s campus operations, activities, and events
- Coordinating student programs and activities
- Develop and implement student engagement initiatives
- Assist with student recruitment and admission processes
- Act as liaison between Lead College and its students
- Organize and attend student orientation sessions
- Oversee and assist in scheduling classes, and assure proper facilities are available depending on class needs
- Ensuring the correct flow of training paperwork such as enrolment forms, attendance logs and associated data entry
- Developing, reviewing, improving and maintaining existing policies and procedures
- Maintaining and accurately managing confidential information in accordance with the organization’s policies and legislative regulations
- Effectively communicating with students and staff to address any questions or needs
- Conduct inductions for staff
- Input into the business plan on a regular basis, identify equipment requirements and organize purchase, maintain all insurance
- Prepare timetables and Training and Assessment Strategies
- Coordinate industry consultees and conduct industry consultations
- Review trainer files and ensure ongoing maintenance of such
- Check student course progress and attendance
Essential Criteria:
- Diploma or Higher Education
- At least 3 years’ experience in an RTO Management role
- Strong understanding of the National Standards for RTOs (2018)
- Good working knowledge of the ESOS Act and CRICOS standards
- Sound knowledge and understanding of student management systems (Axcelerate)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Course coordination and scheduling experience
