This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the administrative functions within a Registered Training Organisation. This position requires a detail orientated individual with strong organisational and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the regulatory requirements associated with vocational education and Training.
Responsibilities and duties
Operational Management:
1. Work with Senior Project Managers to ensure student evidence is returned for processing in line with policy.
2. Develop and update training materials and curriculum for all programs, ensuring alignment with industry
standards and regulatory requirements, including the development of Training and Assessment Strategies.
3. Work with Senior Project Managers to evaluate and review training materials, including assessment tools,
Training and Assessment Strategies, Course Overview’s and Trainer Matrixes.
4. Work with the General Manager to implement policy and procedures that are in line with VET governing agencies.
5. Work with the General Manager to facilitate validation sessions.
6. Ensure Trainers and Assessors are provided with and utilize compliant, current versioned documents.
7. In consultation with the General Manager, promptly respond to any student grievances.
8. Provide general administrative support, including filing and photocopying.
9. Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Quality and Compliance:
1. Assist Operations Managers to conduct student file audits to ensure compliance.
2. Complete assessment evidence checklists for training as required to ensure compliance.
3. Work with Program Managers to ensure that all documents are accurately completed prior to submission to RTO staff.
4. Create and maintain spreadsheets for various project reports, and administrative tasks.
Additional duties or responsibilities may be assigned from time to time by INLOC management.
Qualifications and Experience
•Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
•Proven experience in administrative roles within an RTO.
•Generalist administrative experience with a focus on vocational education and Training.
•Knowledge of RTO Compliance and VET delivery.
•Excellent communication and organisational skills.
•The ability to work independently.
•Ability to handle confidential information.
•Current manual drivers’ licence (QLD).
•Any other qualifications or certifications that INLOC deems necessary to your ongoing employment.
