RTO & Compliance Manager/Coordinator - Full Time
Challenge Employment and Training Ltd is an established Not For Profit RTO, delivering training and labour market programs from multiple sites across South East Queensland. We pride ourselves on delivering quality training with industry engagement to support our students achieve their career goals. We currently deliver C3G, User Choice, VETis and labour market programs across a range of industries.
We are seeking an outstanding RTO and Compliance Manager/Coordinatorto lead our RTO administration and operations.
This is a hands on position and you will be responsible for maintaining the administrative and quality systems that support the delivery of our training, and for monitoring and enhancing the experience for participants. Applicants will have a strong business focus and be responsive to our internal and external customer needs whilst ensuring National VET regulations and Queensland SAS standards are met.
Additional position objectives:
- Drive quality and continuous improvement system within Challenge's training operations
- Coordinate and deliver on RTO compliance requirements
- Coordination of training calendars, schedules and timetables in conjunction with Business Development Manager
- Ensure RTO scope of registration is appropriate for business needs
- Oversee the continuous improvement of delivery and assessment strategies to meet the needs of students and industry
- Recruitment and coordination of trainers aligned to program delivery needs
- Maintain and update RTO Policies ensuring aligned to business operations
- Coordinate RTO administration, reporting and compliance needs
- Lead small team to achieve weekly, monthly and annual goals
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and compliance issues
- Liaise with external compliance consultant on improvements, projects and actions for innovation and quality system
Ideal Candidate will possess:
- Hands on RTO coordination and/or management experience
- Able to work in and lead a small team
- A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
- Strong project management experience
- A well-developed understanding of quality and compliance requirements for Vocational Education and their application in day-to-day operations
You will have
- High standard of computer skills (including Microsoft Office and Axcelerate or a similar Student Management System)
- Experience in or knowledge of training for labour market programs and the QLD VET Investment Strategy.
- Current driver's licence and be willing to undergo a police check prior to engagement.
Desirable
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE and an in-depth understanding of accredited training delivery requirements
- Qualifications in Education, Business or Management, or substantial experience in a similar role.
- Experience in DESBT programs such as Skilling Queenslanders for Work
