ROLE
The RTO Compliance Lead drives, implements and evaluates RTO compliance across the training and assessment activities for all Lifeline programs while promoting high quality, consistent service delivery across Lifeline national services.
The RTO Compliance Lead will provide oversight to the program teams who operate the RTO products and work proactively and collaboratively with other internal and external stakeholders to ensure overall compliance of the RTO with all relevant external bodies including contractual requirements, quality assurance, accreditation and statutory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with internal teams to prioritise content backlogs, timelines and schedules.
- Ensure that the RTO has suitable and effective governance arrangements for the RTO management system that supports the needs of staff and stakeholders.
- Oversee and main RTO scope of registration.
- Oversee data and reporting requirements under the VET Quality Framework to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Collaborate and provide guidance to RTO Product owners/Program Managers who operate to ensure that there is systematic monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement against the Standards for RTOs.
- Develop, maintain and perform as assigned, an annual audit program across RTO activities to provide assurance over their operation and compliance to the VET Quality Framework, and other relevant statutory instruments, and third party contractual obligations.
- Develop and deliver the training and awareness program to improve RTO compliance competency and quality outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and report any compliance risk associated with programs and projects with key stakeholders, with recommendations to inform remediation and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide reports to the Head of Risk & Compliance over RTO compliance activities including audit program status, RTO compliance risks, and status update on remediation activities, to inform ELT and ARC reports.
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes to obligations and industry emerging trends and risks, and provide updates and insights to key stakeholders to ensure the RTO remains compliance.
- Perform adhoc tasks as requested by the Head of Risk & Compliance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at a minimum.
- 5+ years experience in a similar compliance role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015 and VET sector reporting systems, policies, and procedures.
- Recent experience participating in an ASQA audit with a compliant outcome preferred.
