The Role
The RTO Compliance Manager has a key responsibility to oversee the quality of the RTO’s systems to ensure that their operations and training delivery are aligned with the requirements of the VET Quality Framework and their funding contracts. This is a full-time permanent role based in the office Monday to Friday.
Location
The RTO is based in Seven Hills, NSW and will be relocating to Penrith, NSW later this year.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all training and assessment processes, including statutory and contractual obligations and proactive risk management
- Carry out activities to ensure our RTO complies with the standards set by the relevant governing bodies
- Keeping up to date with any VET industry changes
- Completing internal audits and preparing for external audits
- Monitoring and coordinating VET Quality Framework (VQF) compliance requirements to align with business policies and procedures
- Ensuring staff are aware of and adhere to legislative and contractual compliance requirements
The Successful Candidate
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement systems, policies and procedures
- Demonstrated experience working in a compliance role within a Registered Training Organisation
- Comprehensive understanding of information technology, including VETtrak (or a similar student management system)
- Demonstrated experience in participating in ASQA or Funding Body audits
- Ability to establish and maintain close relationships with business/industry, employers, representatives of government and non-government agencies, training providers etc
- Current driver’s licence
