About the role
Nexar Group is looking for an exceptional RTO Manager & Principal Trainer to develop and lead our Nexar Academy (RTO - 45990) .
The successful candidate would ideally have demonstrated experience in a similar role with a focus on the customer experience, student experience responsibility and delivering results.
Manage the Nexar Training Academy and RTO, scope includes (CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations
- CPP31318 Certificate III in Security Operations
- CPP40719 Certificate IV in Security Management
- HLTAID011 Provide first aid
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry).
Scope to be expanded with a focus on CRICOS accreditation within 12 months.
- Principal trainer for our programs
- Build and deploy sustainable programs that provide real benefits to students
- Work with industry bodies to generate students
- Recruit, build and deploy the Academy's team
- Leverage Nexar Group's national client base to build the Academy
- Coordinate the delivery of internal and external training for the business
- Develop workplace SMEs and assessors to deliver quality training/assessment in accordance with the RTO, business and accepted industry standards
- Liaise with relevant training enterprises to ensure the best results are achieved
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Growing the performance with regard to KPI's and budgetary requirements
- Develop the Academy to include non accredited coures.
- Reporting to the CEO

Skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role
- Extensive experience in the security industry (desired)
- Minimum 3 years experience within a senior quality, training and compliance role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications including a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (required)
- Lead large teams
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to influence others to a considered course of action
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated collaborative leadership skills
- Solutions focused - proven ability to adapt approach to changing needs or priorities.
- Organized – outcome and deadline oriented.
- Effective communication and consultation skills with broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Confident presenter and facilitator to various stakeholder groups
- Well-honed customer/client relationship skills.
- Ability to travel nationally on a regular and intermittent basis
