Concord Institute is a privately owned Registered Training Organisation (RTO) based in CBD Adelaide. The college specialises in Individual Support, Aging Support, Community Service, and Leadership and Management training. We deliver training to both local and international students.
We are hiring multiple trainers and Assessors to join our team to deliver training in the following qualifications:
- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support
The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking multiple engaging, passionate and experienced qualified Trainers and Assessors with current industry currency to deliver training to our domestic and international students. Our training will assist students in developing their pathway to gain entry to local and interstate universities, or finding long-term sustainable employment opportunities, depending on their ultimate goals and aspirations.
Key responsibilities of this role are:
- Conduct dynamic training & assessment sessions for Certificate III in Individual Support
- Assess students' knowledge, skills, and abilities through practical exams, projects, and theoretical assessments.
- Follow up outstanding assessment
- Record and resulting assessment
- Liaise with administration
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to enhance their professional growth.
- Development and enhancement of learning and assessment material
- Ensure all materials, assessment plans, assessment tools are current, sufficient, valid and reliable
- Ensure that assessments meet the requirements of the endorsed components of Training Packages and the outcomes specified in accredited courses within the scope of registration.
- Ensure that assessments, regardless of whether through a training and assessment pathway or an assessment only pathways comply with relevant standards and requirements at all times
- Ensure that high quality training and assessment standards are maintained at all times
- Promote training courses throughout the community through individual contact and other means
Desirable skills and qualifications for this role:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 OR TAE40116) or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.
- A Certificate III or higher-level qualification in Individual Support
- Industry Experience/Currency in the Community Services Sector.
- Proven ability to effectively teach, mentor, and assess individuals in a vocational education and training (VET) environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous VET Sector / RTO experience
