Your Role
Joining an HR team of 7, your role as RTW Coordinator will be to take ownership of the Return to Work, Wellness and Injury Management function nationally. Working closely with employees and Childcare Centre Managers, your role will include:
- Management of all WorkCover claims, cases and Return to Work Plans;
- Liaising with GP’s, Physios and Occupational Therapists regarding employee Injury Management and RTW management plans;
- Liaising with employees and managers regarding RTW, Workcover claims and Injury Management cases;
- Coordinating medical practitioner clearances and investigations;
- Developing and implementing WHS, RTW and Risk Management policies and procedures in line with policy governance framework and relevant legislation and reporting requirements;
- Monitoring and conducting audits regarding compliance, training and reporting.
You must have previous experience in a Return to Work Coordination capacity and have completed Qld Workplace Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator Training. The successful candidate will be proactive in nature and have the confidence to operate autonomously and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders. Experience managing WorkCover claims is also essential.
